teehee! just wanted to share a chat exchange on FB that happened a few minutes ago.. (share ko sya coz i was amazed & partly amused by what i was able to say) LOL

In your capacity as a student and a youth, what are the things you can do in order to make as significance difference in the process of restoring our MOTHER EARTH ?

simple things done can make a (although little) difference in helping mother earth

di man nato totally ma RESTORE per se but we can make things better

the solutions are in what every earth-loving "anti-global warming" activists campaign for

anjan na sa harap natin ang solution but we just fail to see kay skeptic man ta..

1. go green! - yes! this does help.. its a huge help actually.. what they are pushing for. the conserve energy, recycle, solid waste stuff and everything they are endorsing... tulong na sobra kay mother earth

2. PLANT A TREE - the simple act of planting a tree is a huge factor.. why do we have these problems in the first place dibah? kay instead of planting things ang mga developers are cutting them down to build shopping centers and all that

3. CAMPAIGN - for what? for 1 & 2 .. why? cause sa 1 & 2 lang daan dako na kaayo nga change/tabang atong ma buhat..

dili nato xa ma feel if alone.. but imagine having a hundred students pushing for that kind of action.. its a huge help

most answers would be like "to show to others how nice and smart and blah blah blah"

yan ang pinaka common na answer all positives ang sasabihin. of course..

but instead of saying all the positive answers.. why not say what really happens in holycross..

not the negatives but the cute and crazy ones..

like kumbaga "holycross holds students that most schools hold. skip classes, chikka sa rooms, the cheating every once in a while.. in general were just being STUDENTS, but in these simple ways we have fun.. and though we have crazy times. it still shows that WE still learn.."
